Water

No need to worry if you forget water – we’ve got you covered. There’s always water available, either in containers or from the fresh tap in the corner of the paddock, just to the right as you come in. On warm, sunny days, we sometimes pop a paddling pool out too for the dogs to play in.

Poops

Don’t worry if you forget your poop bags – we’ve got plenty here at the paddock. There’s also water available if you need to rinse off any of those messy ‘excitable poops’. A waste bin is on site too, so you can easily dispose of your dog’s waste before you leave. We also operate a pick-up-what-you-see policy.

Secure Fencing

The fencing is 1.5 metres high, with hawthorn growing along one side to give extra height. The other two sides are 1.8 metres. We’ve used X Fence Tornado Wire, which is the industry standard for secure dog fields. At the entrance, there’s a large, secure metal deer gate.

Parking

You can choose to park either in the main car park or directly in the field. Just make sure to close any gates behind you and keep them clear. Parking in the field is usually the safer option, but the car park is absolutely fine to use too. The wooden gate may also be closed for extra safety.

CCTV

We have CCTV covering the car park, gates and the paddock. It’s there for everyone’s safety and peace of mind. If needed, it allows us to check who’s been in the paddock—especially if there’s ever an issue with pick-up, booking times or any damage.

Owner on site

Sarah Gleave owns the field and lives on site, which helps keep things safe and secure for everyone – both two-legged and four! We just ask that you respect our privacy and always be considerate when visiting.
