At Meg K9 Paddock, we’ve always welcomed reactive dogs — in fact, they’re a big part of the reason we opened in the first place.
We understand how tough it can be to find a safe, quiet space where your dog can simply be a dog without the stress of other dogs, people, or unpredictable situations. Not every dog enjoys the chaos of busy parks or the pressure of group walks — and that’s perfectly okay. That’s where we come in.
Our secure one-acre paddock is fully enclosed and private. When you book, the space is yours and yours alone. No distractions, no off-lead dogs appearing out of nowhere, no one peering over fences. Just you, your dog, and a peaceful environment where they can run, sniff, and explore at their own pace.
Anxious or nervous dogs
We’re not here to judge your dog’s behaviour or label them. Whether they’re reactive, anxious, in training, or just need space — they are welcome here. We know how much of a relief it is to finally find somewhere that feels safe, and we’re proud to be that place for so many local dogs and their humans.
You might’ve seen us listed on a certain website (British Dog Fields) as not suitable for reactive dogs. That’s not something we’ve said — and we want to set the record straight. This paddock was always intended for dogs that need their own space. It is private for a reason.
So if your dog’s been turned away from other places, or you’ve felt like there’s nowhere safe to go, you’ve just found it.
We welcome reactive dogs, because we believe they deserve freedom and joy too — just in their own way, on their own terms.

ven though it was pouring down with rain, the woofers loved it! The puppy loves getting soaked any opportunity she gets, so she was in her element and even wanted the paddling pool out!
Very secure field from initial entry all the way through to the doggy playground! Well organised and excellent communication throughout and clear instructions.
Well maintained and plenty for the woofers to do. Opportunities for them to practice their agility, basic training, really super long games of fetch and also just have fun and chase eachother around like the crazy dogs they are.
Both woofers left wet, tired and exceptionally happy 😊 lots of dreaming and dream “uffing” followed once back at home!
Will be booming again. Love that they can have dog parties there. Will be recommending the field to others. Love that you don’t have to worry and be on edge that someone else is going to walk in with a pack of dogs off the lead that they cant control and need to protect your woofers… this was just so relaxed and fun and really good for our two. Just visited for the 1st time today with my 4 Sausages! Although5 the weather was not on my side, it did not dampen my visit. My 4 had an absolute blast. I even got my Miniature to jump the poles. Kept immaculate and access to fresh water. Love the way you can park securely behind the gate before getting the dogs out the car.

Absolutely beautiful paddock that is extremely secure and completely removes the fear of your dog running away 🤣. Plenty of poop bags are provided, and the field is kept very clean. I’ve never seen my 10 year old pup so lively. Only issue was that my pups didn’t want to leave 🤣. Many thanks, and would highly recommend! ~ E Darby

First time going last week, what a fab find. Clean with activities for the dogs if wanted. So nice to see the dogs off leads free which we can never do due to having one being reactive and our little lady’s recovering from a spine issue so was nice for both to do as much or as little as they wanted. Really fantastic paddock for those of us who have dogs who love freedom and also safety. I have been to the Zoomies sessions too and they’re well run and fun for us and the dogs. The field is always clean and has great bits for dogs. ~ Ruth Sanderson
We took our doggies here for a run around and were pleasantly surprised by how easy it was for my husband in his powerchair to get into the field and even around it as it was nice and flat with short grass and not muddy! ~ P Katsouris

Very safe and secure and added very clean.
Having 2 little dogs I’m always anxious but was so relaxed today and the dogs had a ball!!
The field has different items for the dogs to sniff and explore and plenty of poo bags and water freely available!
