*UPDATE* British Dog Fields have listed us as unsuitable for reactive dogs — but actually, that couldn’t be further from the truth, it’s one of the main reasons we opened in the first place. Our paddock was created specifically to give nervous or reactive dogs a secure, private space where they can relax and enjoy their time without the pressure of other dogs or people around.
It has also become apparent that the field benefits humans with varying needs, having anxiety is an example of this.
After the initial visit of maybe feeling unsure going to a new place, you can rest assured that when visiting, you can be at peace with your dog just wandering around or sitting at the picnic bench.
In 2022 I decided to apply for British Dog Fields accreditation run by Hannah James. We received that in August 2022 after a formal inspection by her. She is an independant company with no accreditation to any authority such as our local council who ultimately grant our planning.
The British Dog Fields website is merely an opinion of a person with an interest and should be taken lightly.
