Teaching Your Dog To Come When Called
Where best to start than your recall training? Recall, this means coming when called. In an ideal world, what you’re trying to achieve is your dog coming to you any time, any place, any where, that includes with any distractions!
A fair challenge but possible when you work hard.

Walking Nicely On A Lead
A little trickier to master, but with the correct knowledge you can achieve a nice walk to heel.
Learn where you are going wrong – which many dog trainers will agree – is half the battle. Set yourself up for success by, you guessed it, by downloading the e-book.
Wait at that gate!
Teaching your dog to ‘go back’ is essential at all narrow passageways, this includes getting in and out of the car, all gates and doorways in your house.
It has nothing to do with dominance, more so to do with safety and manners. So, practice this one as well.
Drop it!
“Give that back”! Is all I seem to say these days, but what I have learned is that teaching a retrieve is a great way to teach give! This also comes in handy if you have a thief like I do. Stolen items can easily become something retrieved and given back .. win win … especially when you want something picking up.
Sit Stay
A brilliant one to master. A little tip though, never call your dog from a stay, then reward them. The reason for this is they will anticipate the reward and break the stay.
